Hand washes the mask with fabric soap. Do not machine wash, as it will damage the nose clip. Ensure that the nose clip is not crumpled while performing hand washing.
No, don’t soak the mask in acid bleaching liquids. Use disinfectants eg. a few drops of chlorine solution in tepid warm water. Soak it overnight if possible. Don’t soak in hot boiling water. The recommended maximum water temperature is 40° C or 104°F.
The front layer is polyester. Polyester is self ironing, therefore, there’s no need to iron the front layer. However, the back layer is of cotton and can be ironed if needed with medium temperature settings.
Wash it daily after use.
The filter can be used between 36 – 72 hours depending on the environmental conditions. Eg. if you are in a very smoky or hazy area for long periods, then the filter’s life is shorter. But if you are in a less crowded area or less polluted place eg. an office etc. then the span can be expanded. If the filter is very damp or wet
after prolonged use, change to a new one. It’s recommended to change the filter more regularly.
NO ! DO NOT & NEVER share mask with anyone except for your use. You may risk cross – contamination. Buy extra masks for your loved ones and friends. This applies to the filters too.
Gragor Mult-T Mask will last a long time. But if there’re any signs of wear & tear, don’t use it and change to a new mask.
Label the mask by writing your name or initials behind the mask’s white cotton surface with a ballpoint pen.
No! Be extra careful when you use and during washing the mask.
It does sound convincingly good. However, these masks may be treated with anti-virus / bacterial chemicals and substances that may harm to our body later on after prolonged use. Most of it is quite costly too and may not benefit the poor for a decent basic mask.
PM 2.5 or “Particulate Matter” which are measurements of air pollutants sizes which include smoke, dust, bacteria, viruses, etc. Pollutant particles in the air can cause short-term or long-term health effects eg. sore throats, eye irritation, asthma or even lung infections if breathe in deeply.
Due to the current world pandemic and shortages, our government ban exports of all kind of masks. Temporarily, it’s only available domestically in Malaysia until further notice.
